The LAHS NJROTC armed drill team competes all over New Mexico against all willing schools. We practice everyday after school and before school. We use the M1-A Drill Rifle that was manufactured at the Springfield Armory and was supplied to us by the United States Navy. We are coached by a Marine Corps 1st Sergeant by the name of 1st Sergeant Carbajal. He has tought in the drill field for several years and was a teacher of drill instructors for eight years.
